Harley-Davidson’s electric mobility arm, LiveWire, has expanded its portfolio with the launch of two new lightweight electric mini motorcycles, the S4 Honcho Trail and S4 Honcho Street. The new models mark the brand’s entry into the growing small-capacity electric motorcycle segment and are aimed at making electric two-wheelers more accessible to a wider range of riders.

The S4 Honcho range was first showcased as a concept at the Harley-Davidson Homecoming event in Milwaukee and later at EICMA. LiveWire has now commenced production of both models, with deliveries set to begin in select international markets this summer before expanding globally through the remainder of 2026.
Both motorcycles are positioned as 125cc-equivalent electric machines and are designed to appeal to new riders, urban commuters, and recreational users. The Trail variant is intended for light off-road use, while the Street version is focused on urban mobility. The two bikes feature distinct styling, different seat heights, and purpose-built ergonomics to suit their intended applications.

Power comes from a dual removable battery setup with a combined capacity of 3.48kWh. LiveWire claims a top speed of 95kmph and a WMTC-certified range of up to 85km on a single charge. The batteries can be removed for convenient charging and can be replenished from 20 to 80 per cent in approximately two hours.
Interestingly, despite their compact dimensions, the S4 Honcho models weigh around 115kg and offer a reverse function as standard. LiveWire also claims a 0-48kmph sprint time of around three seconds, which should make the mini bikes quite lively in urban environments.

The motorcycles are being manufactured by Taiwanese giant KYMCO as part of its partnership with LiveWire. Pricing starts at USD 4,999 for the S4 Honcho Trail and USD 5,499 for the S4 Honcho Street. As of now, there is no word on an India launch yet.
