Roaring for 100 Years at Le Mans
2026 marks 100 years since #Peugeot’s first participation at #LeMans24. A century of commitment, passion and fight for the win. This year, two Peugeot 9X8s line up again. Will you be watching? The historical relationship between the Lion and the world’s most prestigious endurance race started in 1926, when two Peugeot 174S cars entered the race. Today, Peugeot counts 44 participations in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, as both a works team and an engine supplier. The brand has secured three major victories: in 1992 with first and third places on the podium, in 1993 with a historic 1-2-3 by the Peugeot 905s, and in 2009 with a 1-2 finish by the Peugeot 908 HDi FAP. We are in the final straight before the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2026. Months of preparation, collective effort and relentless focus on every race parameter have brought us here – combining in-depth analysis of the 2025 race, test sessions, and lessons drawn from the FIA WEC rounds at Imola and Spa-Francorchamps. Two Peugeot 9X8s are ready for the start. Here’s to the next hundred years. #WEC #LeMans24 #Peugeot9X8 #RoaringFor100Years #ReadyToRoar #Peugeot
