The GoTrax Tundra takes a different approach to the fat tire e-bike category. Instead of chasing huge power numbers, overloaded tech, and complicated features, it focuses on delivering a simple, approachable riding experience with strong range, solid power, and real-world usability.

In this review, we put the GoTrax Tundra through our full Electric Bike Report testing process, including:
⚡ Speed testing in Class 2 and Class 3 modes
🔋 Real-world range testing
⛰ Hill climb testing on an 8% grade
🛑 Brake performance testing
🚲 Ride quality, comfort, handling, and fit

The Tundra features a 750W rear hub motor with 1250W peak output, 85Nm of torque, a massive 960Wh battery, hydraulic disc brakes, front suspension, and 26×4” fat tires designed for pavement, gravel, dirt roads, and everyday riding.

One of the most interesting features is the pedal assist tuning. The first four assist levels behave more like a torque sensor system for smoother and more controlled power delivery, while PAS5 switches into a more aggressive cadence-style full power mode.

And the biggest surprise? Range. In our testing, the Tundra nearly reached 100 miles on a single charge, making it one of the longest-range fat tire e-bikes we’ve tested.

At around $1,500, the GoTrax Tundra aims to deliver strong value without overcomplicating the riding experience.
