Community officers carried out targeted activity across the local area on Friday, May 15, focusing on vehicles suspected to be linked to disorder and criminality.
Police say the three electric motorcycles removed from the streets are believed to be connected to criminal activity and antisocial behaviour, and warn they can pose a danger to members of the public.
Three males have been charged with numerous offences following the operation.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Rutherglen and Cambuslang community policing team have been pro-actively targeting crime associated with anti-social behaviour and violence.
“On Friday 15 May officers seized 3 electric motorcycles and recovered weapons from across the local area.
“These vehicles are often linked to criminal activity and anti-social behaviour as well as being dangerous to members of the public. Taking them off the street helps to keep our community safer.
“Three males were charged with numerous offences.”
