If you are familiar with ABT Sportsline’s work, then you might be tempted to say that this is the tuner’s first encounter with a Lambo. But it isn’t, as its official website reveals that it offers various upgrades for all versions of the Urus, including the pre-facelifted iteration.
As a result, this is the company’s latest encounter with the popular Italian exotic crossover, and as mentioned in the title, it is the plug-in hybrid variant that has been modified here. And it is pretty much a complete tuning job, as it includes significantly more power than what this model usually offers, as well as some enhancements on the outside, and a few tweaks in the cockpit.
Starting in the power department, ABT Sportsline states that this Lamborghini Urus SE boasts no less than 910 horsepower. The output is actually in metric hp, and it translates to 897 bhp and 669 kilowatts. As for the revised thrust, it is now 811 pound-feet (1,100 Nm) of torque. But what about that Bugatti-rivaling power that we mentioned in the title? Well, it is an original Veyron-rivaling oomph, because the tuner claims that there is an option to increase the car’s output to a whopping 1,000 ps (986 hp/736 kW).

As anyone who is slightly familiar with the plug-in hybrid version of the Lamborghini Urus can tell you, this is a significant increase compared to the standard model. With no outside intervention, the SE has 800 ps (789 hp/597 kW) to play with and 950 Nm (701 lb-ft) of torque from its electrified 4.0-liter V8 engine. It takes only 3.4 seconds to reach the 100 kph (62 mph) mark from a standstill, thus slotting between the S and the Performante variants, and flat-out, it will do an impressive 312 kph (194 mph).
We cannot tell you how fast the ABT-tuned Lamborghini Urus SE is, because the company hasn’t released these numbers. However, what we can highlight is the fact that besides the power boost, this example also features a few exterior add-ons, including the mirror caps, side skirts, front splitter with blades, a rear skirt insert, and a few other things. The rear wing is an optional extra, and features a dry carbon look for the blades.
The new four-tailpipe exhaust system was made from stainless steel, and is said to enrich the soundtrack. The Lamborghini Urus SE in question sits on 23-inch wheels finished in glossy black, and shod in 285/35 front and 325/30 rear tires, and sports a cool-looking (this writer thinks) green exterior. It also features a tuned suspension and carbon extras for the interior, and these pretty much round off the visual and technical makeover, and turn this PHEV Urus into an even cooler ride.
