High-Power Charging | BMW Intelligence.
This town ain’t big enough for the both of us 🤠, but it does have high-power charging and thanks to the charging capabilities of the BMW iX3 you’ll be on your way and back on the road.
💡 Get to know the Next-Generation Battery.
The BMW iX3 as the first model of the Neue Klasse with the BMW next-generation platform developed to advance electric mobility through higher efficiency, shorter charging times, and intelligent energy management. The high-voltage 800V architecture and a maximum charging rate of 400 kW supports high charging power at compatible DC fast-charging stations, enabling long-distance travel with shorter, more efficient stops. In optimal conditions the high-voltage battery can charge from 10 to 80 per cent capacity in around 20 minutes, making charging more comparable to conventional refuelling.
The fast-charging capability is further enhanced by sixth-generation BMW eDrive technology, which optimizes the interaction between the battery, power electronics, and electric motors when you are back on the road.

The added range of high-power charging was determined according to ISO12906 in the WLTP cycle and requires that the charging infrastructure enables the maximum DC charging power. The added range and charging performance depend on vehicle equipment, battery state of charge and health, ambient and battery temperature, driving profile, auxiliary consumers, vehicle-specific charging settings, and the charging power provided by the charging station.
BMW iX3 50 xDrive. Mandatory information according to German law ‘Pkw-EnVKV’ based on WLTP: energy consumption combined: 17.9-15.1 kWh/100 km; CO₂ emissions combined: 0 g/km; CO₂ class: A; electric range: 678-805 km.
