Zeekr 9X Acceleration Test: Big SUV, Fast Launch, Comfortable Interior
Tom and Joy take the Zeekr 9X plug-in hybrid for a quick drive during Geely’s Hangzhou media event. From a standstill, the large SUV launches to 103 km/h in just a few seconds, delivering surprisingly quick straight-line acceleration for its size. Despite the performance, the rear captain’s chairs remain exceptionally comfortable, with a cabin feel Tom compares to a Rolls-Royce Cullinan. The 9X’s imposing front grille and commanding road presence are noted as well, offering a distinctly different character from smaller Geely EVs like the EX2. While the test is limited to a track straight line, the Zeekr 9X leaves a strong impression as a powerful and plush large hybrid SUV.
