The sixth-generation BMW eDrive technology developed for the Neue Klasse models, including the BMW iX3, enables a range of up to 805 kilometres (500 miles) in the WLTP cycle. Thanks to this next-generation battery, with 800V technology, and advanced electric drivetrain, BMW Neue Klasse drivers can now confidently travel long-range distances with minimal charging stops.
Additionally, the BMW iX3 50 xDrive combines a usable battery energy content of 108.7 kWh, and its new cylindrical-cell battery concept increases cell-level energy density by 20 percent versus the previous generation, depending on vehicle configuration and usage conditions. The BMW iX3 as the first model of the Neue Klasse makes advances in higher energy efficiency and reduced charging times to make every journey as smooth as possible.
