Why didn’t “250th anniversary” edition cars become a thing like they did for the 200th anniversary of the U.S.’s founding?

To me, if nothing else, it seems like a relatively cheap way for the Detroit automakers to get an insane profit.

$2000 for the paint job, charge $10000 for it. I know some people that would absolutely buy it if it was a thing.
