A teenager has died and another has been injured after a horror e-bike crash in Melbourne’s northeast.
An electric motorbike and two cars collided on the corner of Plenty Rd and Findon Rd in South Morang about 5.30pm on Wednesday.
The passenger riding on the pillow of the electric motorbike, a 15-year-old South Morang boy, suffered life-threatening injuries.

He was treated by paramedics at the scene but died.
The rider of the electric motorbike, a 17-year-old South Morang boy, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Residents in the area reported hearing a group of teenagers “flying up and down” the street shortly before the crash.
“I see them every single day. Up and down the main roads in and out of traffic,” they wrote on social media.
