The girl was taken to a Metro Detroit hospital for medical testing
WEST BLOOMFIELD, Mich. – A juvenile girl riding an e-bike was struck by a vehicle while in a crosswalk in West Bloomfield.
The incident occurred on Friday (April 17) around 3 p.m. on Walnut Lake Road just east of Haggerty Road.
Investigators said an adult driver from West Bloomfield remained at the scene following the collision.
Police said the girl was transported to Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital for treatment.
Officials said she was alert at the time of transport and is undergoing medical testing.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
No additional details were immediately released.
