I know, I know, Chrysler sucks… but man my 2012 300 served me WELL! Nothing fancy. RWD, V6 with the 8-speed 🫣 I bought it in 2013 with 19k on it and 4 weeks ago, at 260k miles, I got smacked by a lady running a stop sign.

In all that time, engine & transmission went strong and had no issues! Suspension was SHOT, for sure 😅🤦🏼‍♂️ Brakes were getting rough, and (as can be seen in the pic) I had 2 wheels that got small cracks recently and needed replacement (caused slow tire leak).

But man, to look at this car it to sit in it, you wouldn’t expect it to be a 14-YO Chrysler with over a quarter million miles on it. Just one piece of evidence that even a car with a bad reputation can turn out to be a great one, if you get lucky (and treat it decent) 🤷🏼‍♂️

I’ll miss some things about it. That 8.4” screen was ahead of its time for a 2012 relatively entry-level sedan. Beautiful soft touch interior. The Pentastar can scoot pretty decently (again, relatively speaking for a base model full size car).

Oh well. On to a Camry now! 🙏🏼
