Howdy! My 69 Torino's old tail light lenses are slightly melted. nobody makes reproductions of the non-fastback lenses, so I purchased some old ones online. I was aware that they were not going to be in perfect condition, but they're alot better than the melted ones on there now. does anyone have any tips for filling small gouges or polishing acrylic lenses, especially concave lenses? also, can I go ahead and clear coat them to prevent them from UV crazing in the future, or would it be better to leave it raw? lastly, I was thinking of switching over to LED (1156 and 1157 bulbs) so the new ones won't melt. any suggestions? This is my first classic car and I've already learned alot! Thanks, y'all!
