Conquest customers are buyers who switch from one brand to another, and for dealers, they’re one of the ultimate sales targets. You’ll sometimes see offers with significant discounts for people who trade in a specific brand, and Polestar’s current program might be one of the most generous incentives in a long time. The automaker is offering up to a $21,000 lease discount on the 2025 Polestar 3 and up to $14,000 off a Polestar 4 for customers who currently drive a Tesla.
The program ends April 30, so time’s running out, but you can still get a pretty deep price cut, even if you don’t own a Tesla. Polestar is offering $18,000 off the 3 and up to $10,000 off the 4 for all other cash or finance buyers.
That said, it’s important to note that these numbers include more than one discount program, so you might not be eligible for all of the offers. The Tesla owner bonus is worth about $3,000 on top of the other discounts. Additionally, the offers only cover 2025 models, which don’t have the newer 800-volt architecture and updated processing systems of their 2026 model-year counterparts.

The Polestar 3 and 4 are still compelling vehicles, even if you only qualify for a part of the available discounts. They’re both attractively styled and offer impressive acceleration. Polestar also benefits from its association with Volvo, offering similarly upscale, minimalist interior designs with super-comfortable seats.
If you’re in the market for a new electric vehicle, these pricing programs can make a new Polestar much more affordable. The automaker’s vehicles have always leaned toward the premium end of the price spectrum, so the discounts move them more in line with mainstream models.
Despite all this, Polestar isn’t for everyone. The good news for buyers is that EV sales have slowed in 2026, with data from Kelley Blue Book parent Cox Automotive showing that dealer inventory was up 55.8% in January over the same month in 2025, so we’ll likely see similar offers from other automakers as the year progresses.
