PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (CBS12) — A Saturday e-bike and dirt bike meetup along Gatlin Blvd. resulted in multiple juvenile arrests, citations, and bike tows, according to police.

Officers with the Port St. Lucie Police Department say about 50 juveniles gathered for a “TRAD” Comeback Ride event, prompting a response from parks officers and road patrol units.

Officers say they made two juvenile arrests and one adult arrest tied to the illegal operation of electric motorcycles and dirt bikes on public roads.

Several riders were reportedly issued criminal citations for unregistered vehicles and lacking proper endorsements.

Police say all unregistered vehicles were towed, and parents were notified.

Authorities reminded the public that riders must follow all licensing, registration, and traffic laws.
