Owned by a utility company, West Penn Railways used to operate a large trolley system in southwestern Pennsylvania that stretched into West Virginia and Ohio. It built electric locomotive No.1 at its own Connellsville shops in 1915 and used it as a switcher at Connellsville until selling it to the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum (near Pittsburgh) in 1958. I most recently saw it when visiting PTM in July 2025.
