Bookings and test rides for the Flying Flea C6 will open at 12 PM on April 10, 2026, at the brand’s first retail outlet in Jayanagar, Bengaluru. Deliveries are scheduled to commence by the end of May, with a phased, city-by-city rollout planned across India.

A modern take on a historic legacy

The Flying Flea C6 draws inspiration from the original Flying Flea motorcycle of the 1940s, once engineered for military use. Reimagined for modern urban riders, the new C6 blends neo-vintage styling with advanced electric mobility technology, positioning itself as a “city+” motorcycle designed for agility, connectivity and everyday usability.

Performance and battery

The FF.C6 is powered by a 3.91kWh lithium-ion battery and delivers a peak power output of 15.4kW (21bhp) and motor torque of 60Nm, translating to over 400Nm of wheel torque. It has a top speed of 115kmph and weighs just 124 kg, enabling quick acceleration and easy manoeuvrability in urban conditions.

Charging options include Rapid, Standard and Trickle modes via a standard 16A socket. The battery can charge from 20% to 80% in just over 60 minutes, with a claimed charging efficiency of roughly 1% per minute.

Technology and connectivity

The Flying Flea C6 integrates a suite of connected technologies including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 4G connectivity, along with remote monitoring capabilities. It also features over-the-air (OTA) updates, allowing continuous software improvements over time.

Rider aids include lean-angle sensing ABS, traction control, cruise control, voice assist, and features such as live location sharing and tip-over alerts. A rotary mode switch enables seamless transitions between ride modes, while a joystick-controlled TFT touchscreen provides intuitive control over the interface.

Design and engineering highlights

The motorcycle stands out with its forged aluminium Girder fork—an industry-first in modern motorcycles paired with an articulating mudguard, blending heritage design with contemporary engineering.

Its design language incorporates symbolic battery fins, odd-numbered fins at the front representing innovation, and even-numbered fins at the rear reflecting legacy—converging into a wing-like motif. The bike is available in two colour options: Flea Green and Storm Black.

Additional design features include a round touchscreen display, removable pillion seat, and adjustable footpegs for improved ergonomics and customisation.

Platform and development

Developed entirely in-house at the Flying Flea Tech Centre, the motorcycle is the result of efforts by over 200 engineers across India and the UK, backed by more than 45 patent applications. The FF.C6 has also received global recognition, winning the Red Dot Award 2025 in the ‘Design Concept’ category.

Commenting on the launch, B. Govindarajan, Managing Director of Eicher Motors and CEO of Royal Enfield, said the Flying Flea brand represents a new chapter as the company marks its 125th year.

He emphasised that the C6 is not just an electric motorcycle but the beginning of a broader vision to redefine urban mobility through a blend of experience, technology and design. The company also confirmed a strong pipeline of future electric two-wheelers under the Flying Flea brand.

With the Flying Flea C6, Royal Enfield aims to carve out a new niche in the growing electric two-wheeler market, combining its legacy of motorcycling with a forward-looking approach to sustainable, connected urban mobility.
