Bengaluru-based Ultraviolette Automotive has recently appointed Elektrorider as its official importer and distributor across Hungary, Croatia, Slovakia, Romania, Slovenia, and the Czech Republic, expanding its European presence to 19 countries.
The company entered the European market last year and currently operates in 12 countries, including Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, the UK, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, and Scotland.
Under the partnership, Ultraviolette will introduce the F77 MACH 2 and F77 SuperStreet electric motorcycles across the six markets. The rollout will leverage Elektrorider’s existing retail network across Central and Eastern Europe.
Narayan Subramaniam, CEO and Co-founder of Ultraviolette, said, “We are excited to partner with Elektrorider to introduce the Ultraviolette brand in Hungary and Central Europe.”
The F77 MACH 2 and F77 SuperStreet will be the initial offerings in these markets. The models feature a 10.3 kWh battery pack (Recon variant) with a claimed range of 323 km (IDC).
They are powered by a PMS motor producing 39 bhp and 100 Nm, with a top speed of 155 kmph. The MACH 2 uses clip-on handlebars, while the SuperStreet has a flat handlebar for a more upright riding position.
Attila Pavuk, COO of Elektrorider, said, “We are equally excited and proud to introduce Ultraviolette to Hungary and the Central European market.”
