An electric bike rider has been taken to hospital with ‘serious’ head injuries following a collision with a car. Emergency services were called to the incident which happened on Friday evening, April 3, in Parkfield Road, near the junction with Bridge Road.
The road was cordoned off by police as paramedics treated the injured man, who had been riding the e-bike, and he was taken to hospital. A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said: “At 9.25pm on Friday 3 April police were called to a collision on Parkfield Road in Stockton involving a car and a man riding an electric bike.

“Officers and ambulance attended to the scene, and he was taken to hospital for treatment to his head with the injuries described as serious but not life-threatening.”
