Dott has begun a major update to its vehicle fleet across Europe, deploying 45,000 new e-bikes and e-scooters in cities such as Helsinki, Hamburg, Bristol, Brussels, Milan, and Lyon.

The new fleet includes 13,000 e-bikes and 32,000 e-scooters. The vehicles have been designed for improved rider comfort, increased battery capacity, and enhanced durability to suit everyday city use.

Both e-bikes and e-scooters now feature batteries with double the previous capacity, which allows for longer rides and more widespread availability in participating cities.

The updated e-scooters have a larger deck for stability and a phone holder with charging capabilities. The e-bikes are lighter, offer a faster unlocking system, and include an adjustable saddle and reinforced basket. A smaller city e-bike has also been introduced, with a lighter frame and smaller wheels aimed at providing a more comfortable ride.

This fleet expansion follows a successful year for Dott, which reported its first annual EBITDA profitability in 2025 and recorded 500 million rides across its service areas.

Maxim Romain, CEO and co-founder of Dott, said:

This new generation of e-bikes and e-scooters embodies our ‘Moving us closer’ purpose, making every ride an act of connection.

The rollout of these vehicles coincides with the spring season, offering residents in participating cities an updated option for commuting, leisure, and short urban trips.
