Do you know of any good website or application that allows you to:
Compare different EVs within a market (e.g. US or Canada or EU). I'd like to compare things like how a vehicle's price per range differs from other vehicles, what is the cost after local subsidies, what is the curb weight and size, etc.
Compare real data on the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) of different EVs within a market. I assume this data could be private or maybe there are open databases of self-reported running costs (maintenance, insurance, etc.). For example, I'd like to be able to back up claims like "The Tesla model 3 2024 costs more to maintain than the Nissan Leaf 2024" with real data.
So far I've found:
– https://ev-database.org/ , but it's only some EU countries and the UK. It doesn't have any graphs to do more complex analyses, only side-by-side specs comparison. It doesn't have TCO data.
– https://www.iea.org/data-and-statistics/data-tools/electric-vehicles-total-cost-of-ownership-tool , this is for generic electric vs petrol comparison.
I feel like most people purchase vehicles based on "vibes". I'd like to purchase based on data.
