The latest OECD Economic Survey of Spain says that GDP growth will remain robust at 2.9% in 2025 and gradually decelerate to 2.2% in 2026 and 1.8% in 2027. Consumer price inflation will continue to decline to 2.3% in 2026 and 1.8% in 2027, after 2.6% in 2025.
Motorcycles Market Data and Trend
The Spanish motorcycle market continues to benefit from one of the fastest-growing economies in the European Union and remains among the strongest performers in the region, supported by robust demand for both leisure and commuting models.
In 2025, while the other four major European markets recorded volume declines, Spain stood out with a positive performance. Total registrations reached 254,949 units, up 7.1% year on year, marking the highest level in the past 20 years. As a result, Spain overtook France to become the second-largest motorcycle market in Europe, behind Italy.
Market growth was supported by strong demand for electric two-wheelers, with registrations up 15.1%, as well as expansion in both the scooter segment (+15.0%) and the motorcycle segment (+5.4%).

Honda maintained its market leadership, although sales are declining 7.2%.
In second place, Yamaha is reducing the gap, improving 6.2%, while has to look at the shoulders, were Voge is booming 196.3%.
In fourth place the standout performer is Zontes, which surged a remarkable +48.6% growth rate, fuelled by the strong success of the ZT 368 G..
Among the remaining major players, Kymco posted marginal growth (+10.4%), while SYM performed more moderately (+6.7%). BMW ranked seventh with sales down 9.0, followed by Rieju (+135.3%) and Kawasaki (-9.1%).
