Leapmotor has announced that the plug-in hybrid variant of the B10 SUV will be priced at £31,495.
Leapmotor is a Chinese firm that has a 49:51 shareholding with the European giant, Stellantis, and the B10 is the firm’s third model to arrive in the UK – following the T03 and C10.

The B10 is now available with a plug-in hybrid powertrain; consisting of a 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine mated to an electric motor and 18.8kWh battery pack that produces 215bhp, can hit 60mph in 7.3 seconds and reaches a top speed of 106mph. Leapmotor claims that the car can also travel up to 50 miles on electric power alone.
In terms of equipment, there is just one trim level and all cars come as standard with a panoramic sunroof, 18-inch alloy wheels, a heated steering wheel, a 12-speaker premium audio system, a 14.6-inch infotainment system and eco-leather seat upholstery.

The B10 is also practical with there being a total of 22 different storage compartments dotted about the cabin, while there is a 430-litre boot capacity and that extends to 1,700 litres with the rear seats folded down – plus there is an additional 22-litre frunk; ideal for stowing the charging cables.
Orders will open in the summer with deliveries expected to commence later this year.
