Aotos has launched its Flux X26 Smart E-Bike campaign on Kickstarter, and the pioneers in intelligent short-distance travel are offering limited-time “Early Bird” incentives for the first wave of backers.

The brand states that the Flux X26 series is a fusion of industrial power and intelligent art, with its “Keel Frame” lending it a futuristic look, ready to transform your daily commute and provide smart electric bike mobility for the modern urban adventurer.

Aotos debuted the X26 in Las Vegas at CES 2026, the world’s leading tech event. It’s designed to provide riders with the aesthetic and power of a light motorcycle combined with the accessibility of an e-bike. However, the Flux X26 is more than just a cool-looking commuter; it’s a performance machine. Featuring its aerospace-grade 6061-T6 aluminum frame, it features a sharp, futuristic silhouette that mimics a motorcycle. Aotos say it’s built for those who want an “expressive” ride that stands out on the street and performs on the trails.

There are key features that both models share, including the aluminum “Keel Frame”, which Aotos claim is a symbiotic fusion of precision mechanics and futuristic visual narratives equally at home arriving at the office or parked up at the local coffee shop, as well as your weekend explorer, adventuring at Joshua Tree or Lake Tahoe. The ultimate digital business card or eye-catching performance machine to relieve stress, and start conversations with like-minded companions over a latte or setting up at the campsite.

This shared specification across both models also includes high-performance machine features, such as motorcycle-grade inverted front fork suspension and dual-hydraulic rear shock absorbers, that will deliver a smooth ride easily across both dense urban networks and complex suburban roads. Off-road mastery is assured with 20″ x 4.0″ fat tires, meaning the Aotos has the insane torque, grippy tires, and not to mention built-in boost mode, which, with the click of a button, drops maximum torque instantly to the rear wheel, which means this e-bike is capable of tackling the steepest of climbs (up to 25%). For experienced riders, it also means boost mode delivers enough torque to pull wheelies, in a safe enviroment of course.

As well as the impressive performance and power of the Aotos electric bike, the smart features and tech behind the power is also eye-catching, and both models feature a 5.5” TFT Dashboard with full-color display that provides all the real-time ride data you require, like speed, power, and range data. It is also your integrated navigation companion, which syncs with your phone to provide turn-by-turn GPS navigation directly on the bike’s screen, with performance that matches the best GPS bike computers. Aotos has focused on security, and again both feature smart security, including built-in Bluetooth and 4G GPS tracking, an anti-theft vibration alarm, and keyless entry via Bluetooth, App, or password.

Integrated lighting includes, of course powerful headlight and rearlight, but also atmospheric vibe lighting which can shift color based on power modes, allowing owners to create a ritualized start-up sequence, and it adds to the overall cool vibe of the Flux X26.

Upgrading to the X26 Pro model is essentially a jump from a “high-end commuter” to a “light electric motorcycle.” While both share the same aggressive 6061-T6 aluminum frame and dual-hydraulic suspension, the internal hardware and smart features are significantly boosted in the Pro.

Peak power also increases from 1200W to 2000W, and Torque jumps from 80 Nm to 100 Nm. The battery capacity also improves from 48V 18Ah (864Wh) to 48V 21Ah (1008Wh).

The Pro model also benefits from slightly better smart tech and connectivity comes with both 4G and Bluetooth (only Bluetooth in the standard model. You also get GPS Anti-Theft Tracking and Tire pressure monitoring. These additional features increase the overall weight from 97 lbs to 100 lbs, and of course, the price.

The Aotos Flux X26 Smart E-Bike will officially launch in mid-March. This is when the full retail pricing takes effect and general orders open. Estimated shipping on the first production batch is scheduled to begin in May 2026. Further information on the Kickstarter campaign can be found at Aotos.
