Savic C-Series Electric Motorcycle Pillion Ride through Inner West Sydney
Tom from Ludicrous Feed takes the Savic C-Series for a spin through Sydney, from the inner city zipping between traffic to the busy stretch of Parramatta Road. The flagship electric bike from the Australian company is built and designed locally, with 80 kilowatts of power, 250 Newton meters of torque, and a 16.2 kilowatt hour NMC battery. Riding pillion, the electric motor’s whine provides audible feedback on both acceleration and deceleration, while the 280-kilogram bike delivers a quiet but zippy ride with up to 220 kilometers of range depending on how hard it’s ridden. Charging takes seven and a half hours on a 10-amp socket or four hours with a 15-amp setup, and with petrol prices where they are, Tom notes it’s a compelling option for inner-city living.
