Peugeot l Designed To Last l Manuel Gentile
In this video, Manuel Gentile — Director of our Sochaux factory — shows firsthand how we have strengthened our quality standards and how customer satisfaction plays a central role in how quality is managed on the factory floor.
For Manuel Gentile, quality is a total commitment to customers and a collective responsibility. The Sochaux factory produces 1,050 vehicles every day, with 6,500 people working across the assembly process, supported by dedicated quality actions at every stage. Many people work on a specific action or operation to be performed on the cars. Each one must be perfectly mastered.
The Sochaux factory uses a quality monitoring system called Control Tower, which synthesises customer feedback and delivers it to the relevant points of the assembly process. When an issue is identified on the production line, the objective is clear: learn from it, correct it, and prevent it from happening again. Within two days of an issue appearing, Manuel Gentile personally goes to the factory floor to review the situation and the industrial solution that has been implemented.
Take a look behind the scenes how quality is managed on the ground at the Sochaux factory, through committed people, processes and accountability, every single day. This video highlights how industrial expertise, human involvement and operational discipline come together to turn customer feedback into action and industrial progress.
