Mitsubishi Motors in the UK has announced pricing for the all-new Outlander PHEV, springboarding the brand’s return to the UK car market.

The latest Outlander PHEV will be available in seven-seat form for the first time in the UK
Priced from £46,995, the plug-in hybrid SUV builds on the best-selling success of its predecessor and ushers in “significant advances” in electrified SUV performance, quality, refinement and everyday usability areas.
All-new from the ground up, the latest Outlander is longer, wider and taller and will be available in seven-seat form for the first time in the UK.
It also features a new, more powerful hybrid powertrain with over 300hp and full-time four-wheel drive. This combines a 2.4-litre petrol engine with front and rear electric motors powered by a high-capacity traction battery and offering a combined range exceeding 500 miles.
Both variants will feature Mitsubishi’s intelligent Super-All Wheel Control (S-AWC) system, which maximises traction in every situation and includes seven selectable driving modes to match the conditions and driver preference.
The Outlander PHEV will come with two trim levels: the seven-seat Nativa and the five-seat higher-specification Diamond variant.
Mitsubishi returns to the UK this summer, five years after it exited, under a deal with vehicle importer and distributor International Motors, which already runs the aftersales network and is currently building a 60-strong dealer partner base to support sales. Orders are already open for the latest-generation L200 Series 7 double-cab pickup, and the arrival of the Outlander PHEV broadens the line-up.
Sharon Townsend, head of Mitsubishi Motors in the UK, said the Outlander PHEV remains the benchmark for the plug-in hybrid SUV market, offering a combination of real‑world efficiency, robust build quality and dependable aftersales support.
She added: “The bigger, bolder and more advanced new model helps to broaden the model’s appeal for families with the new seven-seat variant, something we’ve not had available in the UK until now. The original Outlander PHEV stamped its mark on the UK market and led the way in the plug-in era, as the sector’s best-selling model for a considerable time. This new version is looking to build on its predecessor’s success and reinforces Mitsubishi Motors’ commitment to delivering quality, innovation, and the real‑world capability customers rightly expect from an authentic 4WD SUV.”
Customer registrations of interest for the Outlander PHEV are open now and first UK deliveries are expected May 2026.
