Electric mobility firm MATTER Motor Work has crossed 100 granted patents in India’s electric two-wheeler segment, reflecting a growing focus on in-house technology development in the sector.
According to the company ‘s statement, the Ahmedabad-based firm has also filed over 400 patent applications across areas such as powertrain systems, battery management, thermal technology and vehicle control systems.
The milestone comes amid increasing competition and innovation in India’s electric mobility space.
“Surpassing 100 granted patents demonstrates that India can lead in original EV innovation. We are not adapting existing platforms, but building technology that redefines how electric motorcycles perform, feel, and deliver value to riders,” said Mohal Lalbhai, CEO, MATTER.
