Toyota revealed pricing for the 2026 RAV4 PHEV lineup, which now starts at a much friendlier price point than the 2025 model did.
The SE model now starts at $42,950, bringing the RAV4 PHEV’s base price down by $3315.
Despite adding a Woodland trim and a GR Sport trim, the top of the plug-in’s lineup is less expensive too, with the range-topping GR Sport starting at $49,950.
Toyota revealed pricing for the 2026 RAV4 PHEV lineup, and in a pleasantly surprising turn of events, this year’s model is actually less expensive than the 2025 version. Along with lower prices, the RAV4’s plug-in hybrid lineup has grown for 2026 and now includes four trim levels.
RAV4 PHEV Woodland Toyota
The SE trim is still the baseline, but the 2026 model starts at $42,950, which is $3315 lower than the equivalent 2025 RAV4 PHEV SE. The Woodland trim is next in line in order of affordability and starts at $46,750. This rugged-looking trim level was previously only available with the standard hybrid powertrain, but can now also be optioned with the plug-in powertrain as well. While the XSE PHEV previously crested $50,000, this well-equipped trim level now carries a starting price of $48,650. Notably, the Woodland and XSE trim levels are the only versions of the plug-in RAV4 that come with DC fast-charging capability.
The new top-of-the-line RAV4 is the GR Sport model that cashes in on Toyota’s Gazoo Racing branding. With a $49,950 price tag, it comes equipped with a rear wing, has a wider stance, and is equipped with sportier-looking front and rear bumpers. While it has with the same powertrain as the other RAV4 PHEV models, Toyota tuned the GR’s chassis and suspension to be more athletic.
