The Wake Forest Police Department is urging parents to talk with their kids after a recent e-bike street takeover.
Police said the incident happened in the Heritage subdivision.
They want to remind riders that e-bikes must follow the same traffic laws as cars. That includes stopping at signals and not blocking roads.
Officers warn violators could face charges, fines or even have bikes impounded.
Police say these events are dangerous and will not be tolerated.
