A new 22.7 kWh battery increases the driving range by 15%, while a new cooling system and improved thermal management boost output power by 60%.Electric-only range is now extended to 72 km, with total system output reaching 297 horsepower. Steering and suspension settings have been revised to deliver a more engaging and confident driving experience.This comprehensive update for the 2026 Outlander Plug-in Hybrid mirrors the mid-cycle refresh applied to the gasoline-powered Outlander in 2025. Inside, changes include updated seats—with ventilated front seats available in some trims—along with revised cupholders, an enhanced phone charging pad, and a larger storage compartment in the center armrest. An upgraded Dynamic Sound Yamaha audio system with either 8 or 12 speakers is also featured.
