“Juiced is back, baby” says the revamped Juiced Bikes website. It also shows us our first glimpse of what are set to become the new e-bike models that will help the re-animated electric bike maker launch its much-awaited comeback tour.

As a quick refresher, Juiced Bikes was one of the first electric bicycle companies in the US, and spent over a decade building its vaunted reputation for powerful, fun-loving electric bike models that pushed the limits of power while offering up truly innovative designs instead of cookie-cutter copies.

But all good things must come to an end, and in Juiced’s case, financial troubles did the company in. After a bankruptcy threatened a cliffhanger end to the company’s story, an eleventh-hour savior stepped in to buy the brand. That savior was none other than the folks behind the US’s largest electric bicycle brand, Lectric eBikes.

Lectric has long taken a holistic approach to e-bike brand building, and that was what they planned to do when they announced their intentions to save Juiced and restore it to its heyday.

Now we’re getting our first look at what that revival will look like, thanks to a recently updated Juiced Bikes website.

On the site, we can see several new images that give us a tease of what’s to come. From the partial views of the bikes, we can see what appears to be a moped-style frame with an extended rear bench, seating for two, rear suspension, chunky 20×4″ tires, BMX-ish riser bars (complete with the on-brand handlebar pads), powerful headlight with off-road bash guard, and several other small indicators that seem to fit with the general higher-power, free-lovin’, fun vibes long associated with Juiced’s wonder years. While we don’t have full images or spec sheets yet, it’s clear that the new Juiced will double down on what riders have long come to expect from the storied brand.

Perhaps even more importantly, we’re also getting our first details regarding the new operations of the company. The new site includes support documentation for legacy Juiced Bikes products sold under the previous ownership, though explains that the details of the bankruptcy meant that many past supplier relationships couldn’t be salvaged and that the new owners don’t have access to spare parts for legacy models. In some cases, they’ve also discovered that many of those parts were lacking. “We reached out directly to the original manufacturer for the original Juiced batteries, and discovered there is no UL certification. We only sell batteries that are certified to UL standards. Also, our team discovered that the legacy Juiced torque sensors had a higher-than-average fail rate. Soooo… we won’t be sourcing or selling components with known quality issues. That’s just not our style.”

The company has also announced that the new Juiced Bikes will be headed up by General Manager Austin Gomes, who previously headed the development of the Lectric XP4, the best-selling electric bicycle in the US. Between Austin’s design chops and the general progression of Lectric’s lineup over the last few years to include higher-end components and increasingly refined designs, the new Juiced Bikes seems well-positioned to blast off with a bang once the new models are released.

As far as timing, that still seems to be up in the air. The closest thing we have to a launch timeline is the company’s vague sentiment that “Spring 2026 will be an insane time to ride.”

It seems the new management is also enjoying the chance to have some fun with the brand, with plenty of wide-ranging juice-based jokes on the site, from “100% real juice” to subtle O.J. Simpson references. The YouTube channel even has a new logo: a freshly squeezed juice box.

Electrek’s Take

I am sooo freaking here for this! The new Juiced Bikes looks to be all set, with what appears to be a refreshing set of designs and the added benefit of a veritable team of e-bike experts at the helm.

It was an unfortunate series of mismanagement and financial pressures that culminated in the brand’s early near-demise, but the bikes themselves had spent 15 years getting rave reviews and developing a loyal fan base. Now, with the right team in place and the ability to build upon what began a decade and a half ago, Juiced’s best years could still be ahead of it.

Mmm, that’s the good news I needed right now!
