Ulsan City announced its “2026 Electric Motorcycle Private Distribution Program” on the 5th.

The city will invest a total of 500 million won this year to distribute 500 electric motorcycles. Applications for the first-half allocation of 125 units will be accepted starting the 6th. Subsidies of up to 3 million won per vehicle will be provided on a tiered basis depending on the model.

Additional subsidies are available for small business owners, vulnerable groups, farmers, delivery vehicle purchasers, and those who scrap existing internal combustion engine motorcycles before purchasing.

Eligibility is limited to citizens and corporations that have been registered as Ulsan residents for at least 60 days as of the application date. Once a buyer signs a contract with a manufacturer or importer, the company will submit the application on their behalf through the Zero-Emission Vehicle Integrated Portal.
