ENGWE is a well-known brand for offering some longer-range travelling e-bikes at much more affordable and accessible pricing, and the new M20 3.0 e-bike certainly fits that bill with a travel range of up to 90 or 180 miles, depending on the battery configuration (either 1x 60V 20Ah or 2x 60V 20Ah). The stylish moped-like design houses a 1,000W rear hub motor with a 3,300W peak power output (and 120Nm torque) that provides up to 40 MPH top speeds, and 0-15 MPH acceleration in just 2.15 seconds. What’s more, it’s been given fast-charging capabilities, with the single-battery model rated to reach an 80% battery in two hours, while the dual-battery model reaches 40% in the same timeframe.
We’re also seeing some smart features loaded onto this model, including Bluetooth automatic locking/unlocking that can be adjusted in its companion app, as well as app integration with the 3.5-inch color TFT display. Among its mechanical features, you’ll find 4-piston hydraulic brakes, 20 by 4-inch puncture-resistant tires, a full suspension system, a Shimano 7-gear derailleur, a more comfortable dual-person seat with foot pegs for both the driver and passenger, cruise control functionality, dual headlights, an integrated brake-activated taillight, integrated turn signals, a front tank bag for storage, and more.
