MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – The Bay Area Chapter of Drive Electric Alabama is powering into downtown Mobile on Saturday with a free, high-energy Electric Vehicle Showcase at Greer’s Market.

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28, the public is invited to explore the fast-growing world of electric vehicles up close and in person. Whether you’re EV-curious or ready to make the switch, this hands-on event offers a front-row seat to the future of driving.

Attendees can:

· Explore a wide variety of EV makes and models

· Talk one-on-one with local EV owners

· Learn about range, charging, affordability and daily driving

· Discover real-world cost savings and ownership benefits

There’s no sales pitch — just real conversations with real drivers.

“We know that the best way to learn what it’s like to drive an EV every day is to talk to real EV owners,” said Henry Brewster, a leader with the Bay Area Chapter of Drive Electric Alabama. “We hope to see a lot of people at Saturday’s event, because we can’t wait to share all of the advantages of driving electric, especially the cost savings associated with being an EV owner.”
