The 1962 Ford F-100 produced in Brazil is technically identical to the 1956 US model (Second Generation).

While the American market had transitioned to the Fourth Generation F-Series by 1962, Ford Brazil continued to use the retired US tooling to manufacture the older body style locally.

Consequently, although built in the 1960s, the Brazilian truck retains the 1950s design features, including the wrap-around windshield and separate fender styling, which had been discontinued in the US years prior. It was powered by a locally manufactured 272 cubic inch Y-Block V8 engine.
