SAHUARITA, Ariz. (KVOA) – A teenager was injured after colliding with a sign apparatus while riding an electric bicycle at Sahuarita Lake Park on Saturday, according to the Sahuarita Police Department.
The incident occurred around 10:56 a.m. on Feb. 21 when the juvenile hit the sign structure at the park’s south end. Bystanders provided first aid until the Santa Rita Fire District arrived and took over medical care.

The teenager was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. The Sahuarita Police Department is currently investigating the collision.
