The updated Geely Galaxy Starshine 6 plug-in hybrid sedan is equipped with the same 82 kW (110 hp) 1.5-liter engine as the current model and a larger 28.3 kWh battery pack, offering a pure electric range of 170 km (assuming under CLTC conditions). This is an increase of up to 45 km.

The updated model continues to measure 4806/1886/1490 mm (l/w/h), with a wheelbase of 2756 mm and a curb weight of 1625 kg.
Outside, the exterior design remains unchanged. The front face adopts a large trapezoidal grille decorated with chrome strips. The side retains the traditional door handles while the rear uses through-type taillights.
Power continues to come from a 1.5-liter plug-in hybrid powertrain, with the 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine producing a maximum power of 82 kW (110 hp). The detailed electric motor and comprehensive range info still need to be confirmed officially at this time.

For comparison, the currently sold Geely Galaxy Starshine 6 offers lithium iron phosphate batteries with capacities of 8.5 kWh and 17 kWh, corresponding to CLTC pure electric ranges of 60 km and 125 km, respectively. Its EM-i NordThor Hybrid 2.0 system also consists of a 82 kW engine and a 120 kW (161 hp) front electric motor, mated to an E-DHT.
Available in seven trims, the current model on the market has a price range from 74,800 to 105,800 yuan (10800 to 15,300 USD). Since its first launch in October 2025, the Geely Galaxy Starshine 6 sold 1,532 units in the first month, followed by 6,433 units in November and 8,708 units in December.
Additionally, a methanol plug-in hybrid version of the Geely Galaxy Starshine 6 was exposed by the Chinese MIIT earlier in February, powered by a 1.5-liter engine with a maximum output of 93 kW (125 hp) and paired with a lithium iron phosphate battery pack.
