How to setup and use Gridserve Autocharge – plug in & go EV charging.
In this video I show you how you setup and use the Gridserve Autocharge system on their Electric Highway charging network. This was introduced in December 2025 and it allows an electric vehicle driver to simply plug into a Gridserve rapid charger and charging starts automatically, in the same way that Tesla Superchargers work for Tesla drivers. Fastned also has the same feature on their network too.
I show you how you initially activate Autocharge, but I did struggle with this and it took three attempts before that worked. I then show Autocharge in action at two different sites.
** Update ** Apparently, Autocharge will only activate after three charges, which matches what I found when recording this video.
