Most electric vehicles that I have reviewed can hit sixty miles per hour before I’ve even finished saying “unnecessarily expensive insurance premium.” But today, we’re talking about something that won’t hit sixty even if you drop it off the Burj Khalifa. Meet the updated Fiat Topolino – the adorable Italian “quadricycle” that’s taking Europe by storm, and possibly, your local golf course next. I’ve been asking Fiat for two things since this little mouse debuted: more power and more colors. They listened with exactly one ear. We have a new color! I’ll be over here half-celebrating with half a glass of prosecco, which feels appropriate for a car that is essentially half of a vehicle.

The big news, straight from the heart of Italy (or at least their marketing department), is the arrival of the “Corallo” shade. It’s a vibrant, sun-kissed orange-red and it joins the existing “Verde Vita” green, meaning the Topolino family has doubled its palette from “one” to “two.” Groundbreaking, I know. But honestly, it’s hard to be grumpy at a car this cute. It’s designed to turn dreary city streets into a playground, and with a 20% market share in the European quadricycle segment as of 2025, it seems people are more than happy to play along.
