On January 29, 2026, moments after the world premiere of the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class, history doesn’t pause – it moves. Three S-Class vehicles set off on a 50,000-kilometre journey across six continents to celebrate 140 years since the invention of the automobile.

In Episode 1, we return to where it all began.
Callum Mullin, our presenter, joins the convoy in Europe, retracing the earliest footsteps of mobility – from Carl Benz’s workshop („The Greenhouse“) and family home to the first test routes and city streets where the automobile once felt like science fiction. What began as a few brave, experimental metres became a revolution that shaped the modern world.

The new S-Class becomes more than a luxury flagship. It becomes a bridge between past and present – connecting pioneering spirit, groundbreaking innovation, and the global culture of mobility we live today.

This isn’t just a road trip.
