Peugeot Tutorials | 408 Public Charge
Public charging makes every journey in your #Peugeot408 simpler. This #PeugeotTutorial shows you how to plug in with confidence.
Start by ensuring the selector is in P and the engine is switched off. Press the rear of the charging flap to open it and check the connector is clear; the white lights inside the flap will illuminate. Insert the charging pistol, and the green flashing lights confirm that charging has begun. If they don’t, restart the procedure. A steady red light indicates a fault.
Once connected, your digital cluster briefly displays battery level, remaining range, estimated charging time and, for electric versions, charging speed. After a few seconds the screen enters sleep mode, but you can wake it by unlocking the vehicle or opening a door. You can also track charging progress remotely using the #MyPeugeot app on your smartphone.
Charging is complete when the green lights stop flashing. To disconnect, unlock your #Peugeot or if it’s already unlocked, lock it once and then unlock again to release the pistol.
