D.C. police say they have identified the dumpster truck driver accused of hitting and killing a person on an e-bike in Northwest D.C. and then fleeing the scene.
Investigators also corrected earlier information, saying the person who died was a man. The crash happened near Upshur Street and Georgia Avenue NW. Police say no charges had been filed as of the latest update, and detectives have not released the names or ages of those who were hit.
Anyone who witnessed the crash or saw the truck is urged to contact police.
