What Does $4,500 Get You in 2026? // ReRode R1+ Review
The ReRode R1 Plus is one of the newest entries in the lightweight / hyper light electric dirt bike category, and on paper it’s impressive for the price. You’re looking at a 72V 40Ah battery, 17kW of peak power, FastAce suspension, 4-piston hydraulic brakes with DOT fluid, a claimed 150 lb curb weight, and a claimed top speed of 59 mph – all for a current MSRP of $4,500.
We’ve been getting a ton of questions about the ReRode R1+, so it was time to get it out for a proper first ride and bike check.
In this video, we take the R1+ to the wide open desert to test power delivery, braking, and stability at speed. Then we head up into mountain single track to test handling, suspension performance, throttle response, rider triangle, and overall trail feel.
