Any idea what caused this?

Ok. TYIA. So my partner borrowed my car. Next day I noticed this. She said she has no clue and she didnt hit anything. There are lots of street signs and those side roadway signs near us. I just have no idea what would rip the wheel up amd then ale that kinda triangular rip in the tire about an inch away. Any ideas?
