RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A man was arrested after he was accused of shooting at two women while riding his e-bike back in January.

The Riviera Beach Police Department said the U.S. Marshals/Florida Caribbean Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested Simeon Howard on Tuesday at his job. At the time of his arrest, officers say the suspect had a gun at the time of his arrest.

Officers say on January 15, just before 6 p.m., a ShotSpotter alert went out, causing officers to respond to Avenue K in Riviera Beach. Upon arrival, officers found two women, ages 45 and 38. The women told law enforcement that as they drove south on Avenue K, a man on an electric bike opened fire on their car unprovoked or for no apparent reason.
