A teenager has been rushed to hospital after being attacked by thugs on e-bikes in a “terrifying” ordeal in Glasgow. The incident happened around 6pm on Tuesday, February 10 on Ardnahoe Avenue in the Toryglen area of the city.

A 15-year-old boy was was set upon by another two young boys on electric bikes. He was rushed to hospital for treatment to what are described as serious injuries.

Cops say the attackers were wearing dark clothing, and one may have been wearing an orange puffer jacket. They fled the scene on electric bikes in the direction of Kerrycroy Avenue.

Police Scotland blasted the “terrifying incident” and are investigating what happened. The force is asking anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened, or who may know those involved, to get in touch.

Detective Sergeant Geoff McKillop said: “This was a terrifying incident for the boy involved and he has been left with serious injuries.

“I am appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened, or anyone matching the descriptions, to contact officers.

“I’d also ask that those with private CCTV or dash-came footage in the local area review this to see if it has captured anything that could assist with our investigation.”
