KINGSTON, N.Y. — An e-bike driver suffered injuries in a collision with a car at the intersection of Henry Street and Broadway, city police said Tuesday.
At about 2:40 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 8, police responded to a reported crash with injuries.
At the scene, the 40-year-old e-bike operator, a Kingston man, told officers he was traveling toward Broadway on Henry Street when a Toyota Corolla driven by a 51-year-old city woman entered Henry Street from the Mobil Station parking lot at 625 Broadway.
Police said the Toyota driver failed to yield right of way and struck the scooter.
The e-bike operator was taken by members of the Kingston Fire Department to HealthAlliance Hospital. He complained of head, neck and back pain, police said.
No tickets were issued at the scene but the investigation remains open, police said.
