Police are hunting thieves after a £10,000 electric bike was stolen in a raid on a garage. The distinctive e-bike was taken from a garage off Plantation Park, Keele.

Now officers are appealing for witnesses to the crime, which happened at around 6.30pm on Monday, January 19.

A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: “We are appealing for information following a burglary in Newcastle-under-Lyme. At around 6.30pm on Monday 19 January, a garage off Plantation Park, Keele, was broken into and an electric e-bike, worth approximately £10,000 was stolen.

“Our investigation is ongoing. We are appealing for anyone with any information that might help our investigation to contact us.”
