The Hongqi HS6 PHEV completed a cruising challenge in temperatures below -20℃, traveling 1131.133 km, setting a Guinness World Record for the “longest distance traveled by a plug-in hybrid SUV without refueling in low-temperature conditions” using a standard, unmodified vehicle.
Earlier in November last year, the Hongqi HS6 PHEV already earned its first Guinness World Record for the longest distance driven by a plug-in hybrid SUV with a full charge and full fuel without needing to refuel, traveling 2327.343 km.
The Hongqi HS6 PHEV was launched in December last year with a price range of 178,800 to 228,800 yuan (25,800 to 33,000 USD), featuring a 1.5T plug-in hybrid system with a maximum engine power of 110 kW (148 hp).
The FWD has a 168 kW (225 hp) electric motor and the AWD has an additional 201 kW (270 hp) rear motor, matched with 23 kWh and 40 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery packs. Under CLTC conditions, the pure electric and comprehensive ranges are 148 km & 1580 km (23 kWh FWD), 248 km & 1650 km (40 kWh FWD), and 225 km & 1460 km (40 kWh AWD), respectively.
Under 4C fast charging, it takes 15 minutes to recharge the battery from 20% to 80%.

Positioned as a five-seater mid-to-large SUV, the Hongqi HS6 PHEV measures 4925 mm in length, 1970 mm in width, and 1740 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2925 mm.

Inside, the cockpit features a small, embedded rectangular all-digital instrument panel, a dual-color three-spoke multi-function steering wheel, and a dual-screen consisting of a central control screen and a co-pilot entertainment screen, both measuring 15.6 inches with 2.5K resolution and powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P chip.

The front passenger seat are zero-gravity with a 173° recline angle and multi-mode massage function, combined with a 16-speaker Dynaudio sound system. The trunk has a standard capacity of 503 liters, which can be expanded to 1977 liters with the seats folded down.
